What we collect, and what we do with it.

1. If you list your company

The join form asks for:

• Contact details: company name, your name, email, phone, website.
• Where you work: state, city, ZIP code and service radius. We turn city, state and ZIP into a map pin for our own review map using a geocoding service; your street address is never asked for.
• What you run: vehicle count and types, capabilities, industries served, years in business, availability, and the “about” text you write for clients.
• Credentials you declare (registration, insurance, training, screenings). These are shown as you declared them. The verified mark is different: it only appears after you send us documents and we review them by hand.

What is public. If you leave “Show my company on the public directory” checked and we approve the listing, the directory shows your company name, city and state, service radius, fleet, capabilities, credentials, industries, years, availability, the about text, and the verified mark if earned. Your email, phone, website address and ZIP code are not shown. Uncheck the box and you stay reachable only through requests we relay.

Verification documents. Certificates of insurance, registrations and training certificates you email us are read by a person, summarized in our internal notes (carrier, policy type, expiry) and kept in our mailbox. They are never published or shared with clients; the public sees only the verified mark.

2. If you request a courier

The request form asks for your name, company or facility, email, phone (optional), what you move and what you need. We use it for one thing: to check the fit and forward the request by email to the carrier you picked, or to a listed carrier in your city, so they can reply to you directly. The carrier receives your name, company, email, phone and the text of your request. We keep a copy of the request so we can follow up on the introduction.

3. Listings we start for you

If you wrote to one of our operating companies looking for delivery work, we may start a private listing with the company name, contact name, email, phone and city you gave us, and email you a link to complete it. That private listing is never public and never shown to clients. It becomes a listing only when you complete the form and tick the public box; otherwise reply to the invitation, or write to us, and we delete it.

4. How we use information

• Publish and maintain listings, and review them by hand before they go live.
• Relay client requests to carriers and follow up on introductions.
• Verify carriers who send documents, and show the verified mark.
• Email you about your listing: when it goes live, when it is verified, when a request comes in.
• Notify our own team of new listings and requests through our internal messaging tools.
• Keep the service working: rate limiting, spam and bot filtering, server logs (IP address, time, page requested) kept for a short period.

We do not sell, rent or trade information, and we do not use it for advertising. If we ever charge carriers for an optional service, payment details will be handled by a payment processor and described separately before you pay.

5. Who sees it

• The public: the public listing fields in section 1, on these pages and in search engines that index them.
• Carriers: a client’s request details, when we forward a request.
• Clients: a carrier’s public listing. We do not hand a client your email or phone; we forward their request to you and you reply.
• Service providers that run under our instructions: our hosting provider, our email delivery provider, the map geocoding service (city, state and ZIP only), and our internal messaging tools. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
• Our operating companies, when a carrier asks to be introduced to one of them or becomes a customer of one.
• Law: if required by a valid legal process, or to protect the directory and the people on it from fraud or abuse.

6. Cookies and tracking

The directory pages set no analytics or advertising cookies and load no third-party trackers. Submitting a form sends only the form itself. If that ever changes, this notice will say so and anything optional will ask first.

7. How long we keep it

• A listing stays while it is live or paused. When you ask us to remove it, we delete the listing; a short internal note that it existed may remain so we do not re-invite you.
• A private listing we started for you that is never completed is deleted on request, and reviewed for deletion after twelve months.
• Client requests are kept for up to twenty-four months after the introduction so we can follow up, then deleted.
• Verification emails stay in our mailbox for as long as the listing is verified, plus the time needed to show that we checked.
• Server logs are rotated within weeks.

8. Your choices

Email support@mapsops.com from the address on your listing or request and we will, within a few business days:

• Send you a copy of what we hold about you or your company.
• Correct any field on your listing.
• Pause your listing (hidden, kept) or remove it (deleted).
• Delete a request you sent, or a private listing we started for you.
• Stop emailing you about the directory.

Residents of states with privacy laws that grant specific rights (such as access, correction and deletion) can exercise them through the same address. We will not treat you differently for doing so.

9. Security

The directory is served over HTTPS; the database and backups live on servers we control, and access to the admin side is limited to our team. Email travels over the public internet, so please do not send us more than the documents we ask for.

10. Who the directory is for

The directory lists businesses and is meant for adults acting for a business. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes

When this notice changes, the effective date at the top changes with it, and if the change matters to carriers already listed we email them first.
